CAN DO has announced that Capriotti’s is constructing a new banquet hall at the entrance to McAdoo Industrial Park.

The new facility will be called Capriotti’s Palazzo. The 10,000-square-foot catering hall will seat up to 375 people.

CAN DO President Kevin O’Donnell said, “We welcome Capriotti’s to the McAdoo park and eagerly anticipate their opening. The establishment is well known throughout the Hazleton area and with this new facility, Capriotti’s can serve even more patrons.”

Capriotti’s partners Thomas Trella and Robert Veet said the new venue will be perfect for events such as weddings, proms and anniversary parties.

“We are happy to partner with CAN DO in this endeavor,” Trella said. “They reached out to offer help and have helped guide us through the process.”

Trella said approximately 20 to 30 people will be employed at the new facility, an increase from the number of current Capriotti’s employees.

Trella and Veet began the business as Tresckow Super Food in 1991. In 2004, they changed the name to Capriotti’s. The current facility, which is 4,200 square feet and seats 250, will close when the new location opens.

CAN DO Vice President of Sales and Marketing Joseph Lettiere said, “CAN DO is pleased to be able to assist a local business as it grows and we wish Capriotti’s Palazzo a great deal of success at their new location.”
