GreenTech Energy Services of Maple Shade, N.J., has been added to the portfolio of screened, certified CAN DO Energy Solutions providers.

The company, which was certified as a provider in the lighting category, has spent the last 18 years installing energy-efficient lighting systems in more than 50 million square feet of commercial building space. With offices on both the East and West Coasts, GreenTech serves customers across the country with a focus on Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

CAN DO, Greater Hazleton’s economic development corporation, announced today that it is teaming up with Penn State Hazleton to develop, implement and promote energy-related education at the campus to businesses and industries throughout the region. As a result of an energy program implemented by CAN DO, Greater Hazleton’s economic development agency, local manufacturer EAM Mosca, which employs more than 90 people in Valmont Industrial Park, will save approximately $46,000 each year on electricity costs.

CAN DO, Greater Hazleton’s economic development agency, established CAN DO Energy Solutions to help industries reduce electricity usage and energy costs through the use of a pre-screened provider network and to help companies finance their energy efficiency projects through federal, state and private funding sources.
