Located in West Hazleton and Hazle Township off Exit 145 of Interstate 81, Valmont Industrial Park has always attracted prominent companies with the most demanding requirements.
Valmont Industrial Park is CAN DO's very first economic development project, dating back to 1957. But while the park has a long history, its technology and infrastructure are up-to-date and support the most modern of companies.
When Valmont opened, its 550 total acres of industrial property quickly made it a highly desirable location for both new and expanding businesses. Bradley Caldwell, Dial Corporation, Graham Packaging, Bimbo Bakeries and International Paper are just some companies that call Valmont Industrial Park home.
There are ideal sites and buildings of all sizes for many types of businesses - including flex, manufacturing and warehouse/distribution.
Valmont is also home to CAN BE and the Greater Hazleton Business Innovation Center, a business incubator that is designed for high-tech and light manufacturing business start-ups and expansions. Founded in 2004, the CAN BE initiative received support from Penn State Hazleton, Ben Franklin Technology PArtners, Luzerne County, PPL and the Great Valley Technology Alliance.
