While each cluster has its own industry-specific need, those operating in Greater Hazleton have also been impressed by our location along the Interstates 81-80 corridor, our dedicated workforce, low operating costs and our in-place infrastructure.
For example, in 2009, two nationally known companies – candymaker Tootsie Roll Industries and refrigerated warehouse company United States Cold Storage – officially began operations in the Humboldt Industrial Park, joining a growing number of food service giants in CAN DO parks. Both will use Greater Hazleton as the hub of their distribution networks for the northeastern United States and eastern Canada.
We invite you to learn more about the food service industry cluster and others on the pages in this section.
