CAN DO officials recently spoke to the Junior Leadership Hazleton class about community and economic development during a presentation at Capriotti’s.

Dozens of Junior Leadership students were in attendance for the presentation. CAN DO President and CEO Kevin O’Donnell opened the program with information on the background and history of CAN DO.

Director of Operations Greg Kurtz gave a presentation on the organization’s property and development roles. Economic Development Specialist Charles McElwee III spoke about the financial assistance CAN DO provides companies as a Certified Economic Development Organization for Luzerne County.

Coordinator of Entrepreneurial Services Jocelyn Sterenchock talked about the CAN BE Innovation Center and CAN DO’s partnership in The Hazleton Innovation Collaborative (THInC) program. Vice President Joseph Lettiere gave a presentation on CAN DO’s marketing and prospect development initiatives.
