Internet services provider Web.com recently announced that it will merge another facility into its existing facility in the CAN DO Corporate Center, which currently operates as Network Solutions.

CDCC OB1 - 10 Azalea DriveThis month, Solid Cactus is moving from its Shavertown location to the Network Solutions building. Both companies are owned by Web.com, which serves more than 3 million customers with domain name registration as well as website design services such as website building and social media promotion. Web.com will begin to rebrand its Drums operation with the Web.com name as part of this expansion.

“We have been very pleased with our location in Drums that we acquired when we purchased Network Solutions in October 2011. We have a great workforce here and were able to optimize our space, so it made sense to consolidate our operations under one roof when our lease in Shavertown expires,” said Susan Edelman, director of corporate communications for Web.com.

Approximately 300 employees will work at the facility. As the company continues to grow, it anticipates additional hiring, Edelman said. Employees will work in positions such as search engine optimization manager, pay-per-click manager, technical support specialist, graphic designer, customer service representative and email specialist.

CAN DO worked with Web.com as well as Stephen Bonge, senior managing director of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank in King of Prussia, and Dale Powell, senior managing director/principal of Cassidy Turley, Vienna, Va., to extend the lease.

“We appreciate the efforts of these brokers in ensuring a seamless transaction for all parties involved,” said CAN DO Vice President of Sales and Marketing Joseph Lettiere.

“We are pleased to have a company like Web.com and its subsidiaries in Greater Hazleton. Solid Cactus and Network Solutions provide high-quality jobs that are a perfect fit for the CAN DO Corporate Center and Greater Hazleton.”
